Q. What kinds of clothes do you buy?

A. We buy gently used name-brand apparel and accessories for teens and young adults. Our sizes range from Girls Y14 / JR 0 to JR 15/16 or in Guys Waist 28 - 42. We are looking for current styles, no older than about 1 year.

Q. Do my clothes have to be name brand?

A. We do specialize in brand names but we also take many different brands. The key is that they be in current fashion and in excellent condition.

Q. How does it work?

A. We go through your items and we pick out the items we would like to purchase. We then enter them into our computer system that is set up to give you 25 – 40% of what we sell the items for. The amount we pay is based on the brand, style, and condition of the item.

Q. How long do I have to wait for my items to sell?

A. You only have to wait as long as it takes us to inspect your items. We are a resale store and unlike consignment, we pay you on the spot.

Q. Do my clothes need to be on hangers?

A. No, we prefer that you have your items freshly laundered and folded in paper bags or boxes rather than on hangers.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?

A. No appointment is necessary. We take clothing for all seasons, every day, up until two hours before we close

Q. Why don’t you take everything I bring in?

A. We buy items if we know that we can sell it. Our buyers make their decisions based on experience and training. However wonderful you may feel that special pair of pants or cute top is, our buyers may agree with you but still reject it because they know, based on experience, that it may not sell in this store.

Q. Do you buy only in season items?

A. Certain items may sell at different times of the year. A buyer may accept a heavy jacket in the fall but reject the same jacket in the spring. Sometimes, we are well stocked and must be very picky, while at other times we have more room and will buy a wider selection. We do buy items that have the most current and trendy looks regardless of season.
